Butson’s Fathers Day Build a Boat
WHAT IS IT?
A new event this year!
Kids and Dad’s build a boat in the morning, join us for lunch and then race the boats down the creek right after lunch!
SCHEDULE
10am - 12pm: Join us to build your boat. We will have them ready to go, and you can do as little or as much with it as you like.
12pm - 2pm: BBQ Lunch in the Butson’s parking lot. Even if you don’t have time to join us all day, come and join us for lunch, check out the boats and tour through the shop.
2pm - 3:30pm: Race time! We’ll all walk up to the starting line to race our boats down the creek. Each
father and kid will race their boats against each other.
other things to do:
Throughout the day in between activities feel free to come join us for a tour of the shop or grab a trail map and walk through the interpretive trails.
COST
Shop tours, race, trails: No cost
Build a boat: Donation of $5 for each of father and kid - all money raised goes towards the ACBS International Ontario Scholarship Program. Time and materials donated by Butson’s.
Lunch: BBQ style lunch, small cost to cover cost of food only.
