Every year the Toronto Chapter of The Antique and Classic Boat Society (ACBS) arranges a spring workshop tour in Muskoka. This is where on average 10 of the finest boat building and restoration workshops open their doors for wooden boat enthusiasts to admire the projects they have been working on over the winter. This tour will regularly have 300 guests traveling from shop to shop. Throughout the day the energy will be high in each shop. The tour this year is on April 16th right about the same time we expect the ice to go out.
This year we have been busy doing a lot of bottom restorations and most of the jobs are nearing completion and will be quite the sight. The lunch for this years tour is up the hill at The Rosseau, so join us before or after lunch for another great tour and a taste of Sharon’s always sought after buttertarts.
